Actually it is very easy to turn a simple recipe for baked potatoes with garlic into a hit. Very simple, very good flavors, I would say they are the best baked potatoes with garlic ever eaten.

This potato with garlic in the oven is a quick, cheap and simple recipe.
Just use a few ingredients, put everything in the baking tray and you’re done. Or use your imagination, and add your favourite fresh herbs, cheese, whatever.

Peel the potatoes and wash them well. cut them in half or quarter, or the potatoes are small size, them leave them as they are.

Put them in cold water, and bring it to boil. Boil for 5 minutes.

Meanwhile peel the garlic cloves. Grate and mix with chopped rosemary and lard.

After 5 minutes drain the potatoes, and place them in a baking tray.

Melt (not heat, just melt) the lard, rosemary and garlic mix, and pour over the potatoes taking care that the potatoes are coated.

Season the potatoes with salt and pepper and bake in 180°C (360°F) preheated oven for one hour, or until golden brown.
