We are a big fan of tomatoes. We love them since childhood and I remember how much I missed the garden growth tomatoes in winter, when in the market are only tasteless tomatoes and they are also very expensive. The best tomatoes I ate were the ones from my grandmother’s garden, from my childhood. They were big, fleshy, bright red and extremely sweet.
Sometimes she had tomatoes so big that they almost reached 1 lb per piece. From these tomatoes we made that time the best salad in the world, which we ate with buttery, freshly homemade bread and also homemade cheese.
Thinking back, it is madness, because unfortunately, my grandmother doesn’t grow tomatoes anymore, as she passed away long time ago.
So we set up our micro-farm, and fortunately I can grow extraordinary tomatoes with the taste of childhood. Sometimes I visit the local markets, and I buy from there all kind of vegetables.
So for this recipe today I use tomatoes from market, which is enough tasty to make our bruschetta so so delicious. Along with olive oil, green basil and garlic.
Some bruschettas with wonderful, fragrant and delicious tomatoes came out. I invite you to a portion 🙂

Instructions
Chop the tomatoes in cubes, and then chop the onion, garlic and basil as finely as possible.
Combine all ingredients and season with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Slice the baguette diagonally so that your baguettes come out as long as possible.
Spread them with a little olive oil and either fry them like you normally fry bread, or put them in the hot oven for 4-5 minutes to brown.
Place the tomatoes mixture on top of the baguettes, and serve the bruschettas.
